For all biological PhD applicants... I was at an interview for a different school this weekend, and a faculty member there clued me in that Georgetown is undergoing a large personnel change and remodeling of their programs. Because of this, apparently it is true that they are only accepting 2-5 applicants. I think this explains why no one has heard anything. I was pretty upset and frustrated to hear this, but on the bright side, it probably means that it isn't the best school to join and I can narrow down my choices... good luck everyone!

Phone interview with POI soon

They said that they only accept "5" people for admission. There are more than 500 people apply for this program. Therefore, they rejected me.

TTPB thanks for your response! I now know through some connections that as of last Friday (01/24) interview invites had not been sent yet. Best of luck!

TTPB: I have also applied to that program and have not heard back yet! Maybe we just didn't make the cut for interviews but hopefully they haven't sent out invites yet!

Has anyone heard from Georgetown Biochem or Cell Bio programs? I've heard from most of my other schools, but nothing from Georgetown
