Expected result. I am not sure why some of the other rejected applicants think so highly of Stanford's MS program. It seems relatively easy to get an admit through the Stanford Center of Professional Development if you work at a member company.

Well.. I had a feeling this was on the way :-/

Got an equally good choice for me, so no matter, but I am surprised. Congratz to those below!

I believed my application is as strong as possible. Top of the class at IIT CS department with 9.45 CGPA, 2.5 years industrial experience at top company, good SOP, stellar LORs from VP, Manager and two professors. First author of major IEEE conference publication, GRE 332 (Q 168, V 164), TOEFL 111. Got admitted to CMU MSCS but Stanford is my dream. Heartbroken at my rejection. It will take few days to get over it. Anyway Congrats to all those who got in!

Considered my self as a strong applicant but Stanford proved me wrong. This is the most heartbreaking moment in my life. Congrats to those who got in!

Not even surprised.

Bound to happen.

Disappointed. 5th straight rejection from top 10. Unexpected

The last of the series "universities you must be rejected by before you die."

Please note that your admission to the Computer Science Master's Program does not guarantee funding. Stanford Master's students can often get assistantships to pay for tuition but these teaching and research assistantships are arranged only once you are a registered student, and are negotiated one quarter in advance.

So thrilled XD

No funding.

Never expected. No funding.

Thought it was gonna be next week but received email at 7:50pm!! No funding but oh well, it's dream school. Checked CollegeNET, application status didn't change and no decision letter available there. Really happy! There will probably be more results coming out in the next few days. Good luck all!
