TTPB asking about waitlist: I received it in the last 24 hours, I don't want to get into details (since I'm still on the waitlist). But I had a strong application with a great SOP and LORs. I have already been admitted into CMU so I will most likely go with that. I think that I screwed up the interview, and thus didn't get an acceptance,

TTPB who have already got admitted, did you guys all get an email for a pre-recorded behavioral interview? Is this interview a necessary condition for future consideration? What role does this interview play? Does anyone else from 2nd priority ddl also get the interview?

I emailed them about my application and learned that I was accepted!! I had a pretty high GPA, Average GRE, Strong SOP & LORs. Good luck to you all!!

TTPB: Yes, I applied before 1st of Dec. Had good GRE score and good SOP, decent LORs. international. no work experience

TTPB: I haven't heard back from them since I finished the interview. sth doesn't sound quite right here. they are making decisions based on both pools: round1&2 peeps; then what is the priority deadline for?

TTPB: I don't know whether it was general or not, That's why I am asking whether did anyone else got this email? Also, the subject of the email was: "Important Information About Your Cornell Tech Application". It started with: "Hi [My Name], Thank you again for your continued interest in Cornell Tech! As we begin to receive applications for Round 2 admission, we would like to provide you with a status update on your application."

TTPB: Nope :/ was it a general email?

TTPB: I received an email stating: "Given the high volume of applications we've received, it is taking slightly longer than anticipated to complete our full review of the applicant pool. Your application is still actively under consideration by our committee and we hope to have a final admissions decision available to you by mid-to-late February. Please note that this is not a reflection of your competitiveness and we hope to have more information to share in the coming weeks." Is there anyone else who got this mail?
