Just checked the Cambridge application website and it showed "Application Unsuccessful." Never received an email. 2r/0a/0wl/14p

Email from department letting me know I'd been shortlisted for an interview to take place with potential supervisors between January 21-28th.

Profile: EU student studying for a degree in Politics with Philosophy from a top RG uni in London. Cumulative Average is 74, and 77 in my major subject (Politics). Two peer reviewed publications in UG journals, and a final year dissertation in political economics. Timeline: APPLIED 4.01.2021; UNDER REVIEW DEPARTMENT 5.01.2021; GAO 21.01.2021; CONDITIONAL OFFER 26.01 Hope I'll meet the conditions!

Upgraded to GAO on 20th Jan, conditionally accepted on 25th, need to pass an English text for unconditional offer. No word on funding yet.

Got an email inviting me for an interview in a couple of days - fingers crossed! Got it just a few days after being instantly rejected by the LSE (though I was kind of expecting that)

Interviewed on 13th of January. Had applied for a PhD with the newly founded accelerate program, was given an interview for the MPhil. Asked the P.I about the interview, he said he was impressed. Haven't heard back since. Anyone else applied for the Accelerate program?

Now awaiting confirmation from GAO

Interviews will be conducted during the week of Jan 25th.

Conditional Offer. A bit surprised as I applied not long ago for the funding deadline, Jan 7th. Still waiting for funding and college allocation. Similarly accepted into the MRes a few years ago but didn't get funding, trying not to get hopes up.

That was fast (11 days since submission / deadline)

To my post below: "... awaiting approval by GAO = offer?..." Received a conditional offer today :)

Submitted on the 30rd of November GAO on the 20th of January Conditional offer on the 22nd of January Undergrad applicant from Turkey

Accepted by prof after interview. Official acceptance to follow. Looking forward to funding rounds.
