MA in politics. Weirdly, received an email on scholarship first, 15 minutes later another one came telling me my app status is updated. Scholarship lower than expected but school is my top choice

Not terribly disappointed. I've read that the school is antiquated and behind the times so they weren't a top choice.

A few hours early!

That's so weird. I didn't receive any invite to join a Facebook group for admitted students but I received an acceptance letter from Cuny last week.

To the poster below for J-school, I also got the email but haven't received any official word, acceptance or otherwise. Still, taking it as a positive sign & decision letters are in the mail according to the admissions office. Fingers crossed!
