TTPB: You should be relaxed. There is a lot of uncertainty about enrolling now. That's why the university is procrastinating. My suggestion is that you should contact the department and they will give you their solutions. I have just received an email from the department to ask me to move my application to Fall 2021 for consideration.

Is anyone waiting for the decisions from university? Now is June and I have not heard anything from them. Should I suppose I am rejected? Anyway, they are completely silent that makes me feel unfair since I submitted my application with 100$ not free, and the admission committee cares nothing of my application at all. Although Covid-19 affects their decisions, they should have proper communication at this time no matter rejected or admitted.

Status changes from "Under review by graduate department" to "Under review"

TTPB: to the post below for ISU. This program also did not reply to my emails regarding decision. But so far the coordinator told that they cut half in the budget due to situation and now are unable to accept half of (300) applicants admitted usually. She suggested accepting other offers if any. So for all being ghosted by ISU, suggest accepting other offers.

Is this another department everyone got ghosted by? Another wasted application fee for me. I'm happily attending another program, but it is so frustrating that some departments will shamelessly avoid sending any communication. It drags out the decision process for everyone as applicants hold onto other offers until 4/15 while waiting to hear from these disorganized departments. Really wish we could push back on this behavior.

TTPB: to the post below for UCI. Don't feel bad. It looks like all CSU campuses will be virtual till the end of the school. The UC system including UCI will surely follow. As of right now, unless you enjoy online teaching and isolation, California is going to sh*t.

Is there a facebook group for Northern Iowa yet?

I applied to five different programs back in January and my status is "awaiting decision". I graduated from Purdue University and have experience doing field research and working with the fish and wildlife services recently. I just want my decision either way.

TTPB: How you get your results? I check my portal and it still reads "Under review by graduate department". Did you email the professor or coordinator? I emailed to coordinator many times, but she did not reply @@!

TTPB: Same here, my status does not change. I emailed the coordinator and director many times, but they did not respond. I don't have an interview yet.

TPB, I was rejected a few days ago because the professor had found a better match for his needs. Good Luck. I have another friend who was offered but couldn't secure funding. I hope it goes better for you, Good Luck!

Honestly wasn't a great fit, still the classic ''I strongly encourage you to apply'' led me to waste $$$ and effort while the prof probably waited for better candidates. FAIR!
