TTPB: I received an email three weeks ago saying that "we expect to make our admissions decisions 1-2 weeks from now", but during my interview ~1.5 weeks ago, the interviewer stated that the department is still struggled with assigning quotas to each sub-field. I guess it's likely that each division is not sure how many offers they can send out, so they are doing this in small batches. In any case, best wishes! BTW, did anyone's decision letter contains funding information?

TTPB: I received an email to check the portal and another with an official offer letter shortly after. This was today, so it looks like they're not sending out all the acceptances at once. I did not contact any faculty. (HEP-ex)

Same with poster below: How are you all getting offers? Have most of you gotten emails with POIs or contact with the department in some way? I noticed that pretty much all of the posters that got in have had similar pGRE scores (>900) and/or contacted faculty beforehand.

To the people who got accepted, did any of you apply for hep-th? Also, are these informal offers?

Had an unofficial Skype interview / conversation with my top choice PI in mid-Jan. Subfield: CME Has anyone received funding information? I can't find mine. For that matter, where can I find UIUC physics funding info as well?

To the poster below: I applied for cosmology. My interviewer explained that the admissions process is broken down by subfield, and depending on your subfield you will talk to someone different. So I'm assuming that not all the profs in charge of interviewing by subfield have sent out their requests yet, but idk.
