Just checked the portal. First rejection of the season! Highly expected 0a/1r/0w/4p

No email - had to check the portal 1a/1w/3r/1interview/11p

Last name "M." Decision just came through! Moving alphabetically.

No email. Portal only.

not even an email :// - 1a/0w/4r/3p

Michener. No email, just checked portal.

Got a short email rejecting me from the program.

For Michener - check your portal.

Got a voicemail from Chantel Acevedo saying I’d been accepted! Called back and she was so kind, saying an official letter would be sent soon but that it’s fully funded with a stipend!

Made it to Phase II. To the poster below, the email they sent said "sorry if this is a repeat," and given that other poetry Phase II notes went out a week ago makes me think something is up with their process so it's hard to tell all notices went out yet.

Inquired and was told all acceptances had gone out. Anyone who hasn't been admitted already is put on an unranked and (I assume) large waitlist. The application portal still lists my status as "currently under review." 1a/3w/2r/7p.

Only program I wound up applying to and still in shock. Waiting on funding info.

Does anyone know if phase II is complete? I know that no email = rejection, but they said they would post on their website once all emails are sent out.... and I can't find it. Thanks!!

It hurt, and makes me antsy since I applied to lots of other highly ranked schools. Not feeling great, but not shocked because my writing sample could have been stronger. Generic form email. A little peeved they sent these on Valentines day but oh well... 0a/0w/1r/0p ALSO: my partner received an email from Cornell about two hours before my rejection came. He was waitlisted for the fiction track, if anyone was curious!
