Well, I kinda expected this... A friend in Alberta told me they greatly reduced the number of international students this year because of deferred students from last year + funding. Anyway, I got into other schools. Good luck to everyone else.

Hi, could anyone please tell me if anymore Columbia Admits are left or is it just rejects now. I really expected to get in to the Columbia. fml.

TTPB: Same situation. Radio silence from the prof I contacted, and when I wrote to the department all I got is " we can only advise that applicants will be informed of a decision between February and April". The least they can do is send out the rejects, if that is the case.

Does Waterloo CS course based program finish their offer handing ? If I still don't head any offer from Waterloo, does it mean I am rejected already ? One thousand thanks

Applied to both Course and thesis. Thought I was competitive to Course-based program. Got rejected on GARS, no emails etc. Is this the final decision for both course-based and thesis program ?

(Not Heard back yet) To the posters below: {1.} were you interviewed before getting the offer? {2.} does the offer state anything about funding ?

Saw update on portal, no email. Already committed somewhere else but very happy and it's a relief to finally have all my results back.

TTPB: I've looked through a decent amount of this website and haven't seen anybody talk about interviewing for EECS MEng. On the website they say they only interview you if they still have questions for you. So there's probably a group that are definite admits that won't get interviews and a group of definite rejects that also won't get interviews. So there's definitely a chance you'll still make it in.

Just received the email for the Professional Masters in CS (MCS) My stats: 3.8 in ME + CS Minor from UIUC, 3 LoR's with 1 from CS faculty, 169Q/159V/5.5AW, medium-strong SOP, no publications

GARS. I looked through everyone who have received a decision. All of them are rejection from Alberta. Do they accept anyone? My GRE is not good, but not too bad. I have 5 years of working experience in the field too. Not sure what are they expecting from a candidate? I saw people who have better scores than me with a rejection too....

Checked the CSGARS portal and found my application Rejected.
