Update on my earlier "other" post. Received a copy of my official offer letter including funding information in an email. Didn't want to count my chickens before they hatched.

I just spoke in person with my POI and she said funding was tight for international students. I got home and found the rejection on the webpage.

Not sure if it's true, but I've heard that they basically never take anyone from in-state...

Application status never changed, I logged in to check and admission decision was available at the bottom of the page. Letter stated I did not meet minimum qual. but received an interview. It doesn't make sense why they'd interview if I didn't meet the min. qual.

Checked website on Monday, decision made. Rejection available 2/19, email stating to check website received 2/20.

Approx. date. Received formal rejection about a week later.

Contact by email prior to winter break. Emailed on 1/4/13, Phone interview 1/11/13

Heard from POI, he had accepted his quota of students.

Got an email today asking me to come for an interview on March 1st!

Yesss! So happy!

3 years research experience, papers, still can't be admitted, I am really disappointed and doubt what kind of excellent students can enter this univ. :(

To the Psychology Tufts poster below, which program in Psychology did you apply to? Cognitive Science?
