I don't know if all the schools are doing it this way, but from the majority of results for MLA notifications it looks like some other schools may be doing this as well. I just don't understand why UCB can't give you your location on the waitlist, so you can decide whether it's worth the gamble. Also I don't know if that is typical. I am having to go with my 2nd choice school because I don't want to give that up for a mere chance at UCB. Plus, they seem like they don't really give a damn about prospective or current students... | ||||
