To the question below on DAWN, my interview two saturdays ago was from a DAWN professor. He did not make it sound like he was interviewing me with the intent of me working for him specifically, but an interview for the ML committee more broadly. I have not heard back since the interview yet.

To the poster who asked about the interview, I think it was more general... The Professor said something like the whole group is interested, so it doesn't have to be him that will advise if I am admitted.

To the question below: my interview was with a prof I had mentioned on my SOP. He didn't talk about advising me, it was mostly about my background and interests.
