I just checked the website and the decision was out. Though I have not received an email to check the website yet so anybody that applied for PhD at UCSD may check the website.

I don't think they sent out many admits this fall. This is really disappointing as I could have applied to other colleges if it was mentioned earlier. I hope they provide better information next time.

Totally unexpected. Georgia tech was ambitious plus I fucked up while filling the form. Will vacate my seats in other colleges. Thanks.

Expected an admit but I feel there are very less seats due to deferal.

Got Admit from Gatech. Will vacate the seat. Thanks.

Already decided on a different uni. However, would have felt good if I got an admit to GaTech.

Any idea when waitlisted candidates can expect final decisions? I wish they got this over with. Ironically, I saw there was a post for rejection->acceptance last year in April, lol.

Finally!

Email to check portal, Generic Rejection email. Good Luck to all!!!

Hearty congratulations to those admitted! A humble request to please reject any college you won't consider after this admit as soon as possible. Will be indebted. Yours, Waitlisted optimist B)

Such a pleasant surprise. :) Received an email informing me there had been an update to my application status. Checked the portal and found the letter of acceptance. Congrats to everyone else who got accepted!

Congrats. Mind sharing some detailed stats? When you applied, gpa, undergrad school rank, or whatever you don't mind sharing? Waiting for my decision like a lot others...

Tier 1 university from India. Decent scores. A couple of international publications. Sad :(

TTPB: Congrats. When did you apply? Your stats? Did you contact a research professor beforehand?

Yesss! First admit from UC's. First area of interest - ML

Rejectedd!! for MS specialization. it hurts, but we have to move on.
