Called to say I was recommended for admission. Physical chem.

Got accepted in TEP program for the Education Specialist pathway. I had 3 years of experience working with children with disabilities as a Bii/Behavioral therapist, and I was a double major (Poli sci and Spanish) in UCI.

Recommended for admission :)

At this time, we cannot recommend you for admission. The committee did, however, place you in a wait list pool should spaces become available. The Faculty Committee fully expects to make the wait list decision by late April. I appreciate the time and effort it has taken you to apply. You will receive notification by early May regarding the final action on your application for admission for Fall 2026 at UCLA.

at least the wait is over.

No GRE. Made it to the interview stage (early February, virtual) but was rejected. Felt strongly about my interviews and the program itself, but was aware that I was lacking faculty members that overlapped with my specific research experience and interests so am not too disappointed. Good luck to those still waiting!

Thank you for applying to graduate study at UCLA. We regret to inform you that you are not being offered admission. UCLA receives many more applications than there are student places available. Each of these applications is carefully reviewed by a departmental faculty committee. In this extremely competitive environment, many talented and promising students are not recommended for admission by these committees. We understand that this decision is disappointing, and again, there are many more applications than there are places available. Inquiries about your application or the decision may be submitted in writing to: Graduate Admissions Officer, Psychology, 1285 Franz Hall, Box 951563, Los Angeles, CA, 90095-1563, [email protected]. Please accept our best wishes for success in all your future endeavors.
