In total disbelief. Got an email saying a decision was made and the acceptance letter was in the portal. They mentioned that financial assistance will be sent out in letters no later than March 15. No mention if I was accepted to the specialty track that I expressed interest in. Background info: out of fielder, leveling coursework in ComsDis, lots of research experience and presented at ASHA, strong LORs. Good luck to everyone else out there! If I don't get good financial assistance I will be declining their offer so hopefully that will help somebody on the waitlist.

Shook beyond belief. Out of field applicant, lots of ECs, study abroad experiences, and in-field internship and shadowing experience. I feel so incredibly blessed!

To the post below... The past few years they have sent out notifications on the Friday of the first full week of March (today). From looking at previous years, the calling of people before that is new.

Does anyone know if Vandy sends out acceptances in waves? I saw a few people post acceptances on here but I have yet to hear back at all.

Received a call from a number caller ID labeled as One Hundred Oaks Mall. I assumed it was spam so I declined and then listened to the voicemail and it was from Vanderbilt.

Just got notified that I am an alternate for funding (and that tuition is up from the previous 38k/yr I found through researching to 40k/yr) — does anyone know what the odds are to be bumped up on that list?
