TTPB - I also still haven't heard back from UT Austin :( Not sure if that's a good or bad sign, but definitely feeling a bit concerned.

Has anyone else not received an admission decision from UT Austin? Im kind of frustrated that they have sent out so many but I am still waiting to hear.

3.3 GPA, strong LOR, volunteer, and research experience. All my experiences have been catered towards my end goal (bilingual SLP) I'm assuming it's based on my grades.

To the poster below concerned about PhD admissions - I applied to the master's program and my portal also still says "In review." I saw a handful of results yesterday on here, so I felt a little concerned as well, but I know quite a few people whose MyStatus still says "In review." I know they're a bit behind with going through applications after that gnarly storm. I also heard they got a ton of applications this cycle. Anyways, fingers crossed that we all find out in the next few days! :)

Hi to the person below that was interested in UT-Austin's PhD program. Did you just check your portal today and saw this? My application still says “in review” and I'm getting extremely nervous. I saw the master's program results went out yesterday and hadn't seen any posts about the PhD. Just concerned because mine still says “in review.”

Didn't get an email, just checked the portal several times a day. Would love to hear from those accepted to the PhD program who your mentor is/what your research area will be. I was hoping to do stuttering research with Dr. Byrd.

Received an email to check my status in the portal. Honestly surprised. SLPA experience, 3.9 GPA, strong LORs, national service, research and clinical experience in undergrad, interested in Spanish-English bilingualism. Out of state. Congrats to those accepted!

My top choice but I knew it was a stretch. It's okay because I think I will accept my offer at my 2nd choice!
