Rejection via email.

Basic form email from the director of graduate studies

"Thank you for your application to The University of Alabama Graduate School. Unfortunately, you have not been accepted to the College of Arts & Sciences, Creative Writing MFA program for the Fall 2022 semester. We appreciate your interest in The University of Alabama and wish you success in your future endeavors."

I was so thrilled to get in that I think I would not shut up. She told me to stop talking already.

Accepted to the New Writers Project. There were 3 spots available for 240 applicants. Very excited about the offer, and I will almost certainly be accepting :)

Literally I was so excited, I blacked out for like 5 days and just forgot to post this, but guess who's going to Iowa (it's me)!!!

Okanagan campus- no word on funding yet. Only giving me until mid march to respond to offer.

Unfortunately got rejected by both the low-res and full-res programs. Definitely stung, though this was my weakest application by far. I had to submit poetry and CNF as part of my fiction application (as all do), and my poetry is beyond garbage, while my CNF is barely decent. Doesn't hurt as bad as it could, but still sucks.

ouch! (vancouver campus, full-res)
