TTPB: email response about Virtual visiting...... 1. Does this mean that I passed the first round of the admission process? Or Is this email distributed to all applicants? : We only invited students that have met the requirements for admission to our graduate program. 2. During Virtual Visit Day, do I have to find my potential advisor and secure commitment for my funding? to be considered for admission? : Students in the PHD program must have a faculty member who will advise their program and provide funding. If you do not find an advisor we can recode your admission to a later semester to allow you more time to fine one. 3. How can I make appointments with AE faculties who I'm interested in? there seems to be no guideline in this email. :We will send that information in a separate email closer to the visit date.

Research experience: Summer Fellowship (1 conference paper) Work experience: 3 years at an aerospace OEM No financial aid It is mentioned in the admission letter that a professor from the aerospace dept. will be selected as my academic and research advisor.

An email from the UCLA admissions informed me to check my status at the link they provided. The decision letter notified my acceptance, but there was no information regarding funding.

TTPB: Even I have received the virtual visit invitation. Don't have any idea about what does it mean towards my acceptance chances. But I understand that we get to meet the professors and discuss our suitability in their labs.

What is this?: virtual visit day for graudate school This means I passed first round of admission?

Received email in "spam" folder. Said official letter was sent to address on file.

@Other person who asked if they are even accepting people this year, I am very unsure. Had reached out to program coordinator multiple times about program with no response. Either way, it seems like they didn't want people this year.

TTPB: The international guy who got MS admit, on which website did you get notified? Application portal or MyUCLA admission page?

No interview for UCLA Aerospace PhD.

Got the same mail as other people received 2 days back.

To the persons below that got accepted into the AE PhD program, were you interviewed beforehand and when was your interview? Thank you.

Email to check portal, no funding with offer. No GRE results since they were waived, a year of undergrad research with 2 conference paper publications

Checked it on my UCLA portal. Accepted my offer.

Encouraged by a PI and got first year teaching assistantship.

TTPB: Just sign up on MyUCLA portal (google it, seems like posting links here isn't allowed) by creating a UCLA logon ID using 9 Digit UCLA ID (UID) number of your application.
