Master's from unranked uni in the USA. GPA = 3.94 when I was applying!

Thank you for your interest in our doctoral program and for beginning the application process for the fall 2023 admission cycle. Because your application was incomplete on the deadline date of December 15, your application was unable to be reviewed and considered for admission to the University of Florida.

First I was notified by one of the professors whose name was mentioned in my Statement of Purpose on Jan 19th, 2023. Then the grad recruitment committee mailed me the official offer letter.

This decision may not be due to anything negative in your file, but rather from the qualifications of other applicants and insufficient faculty resources to support your research interests.

No interview. Not a surprise.

No interview. "I regret to inform you that after careful consideration your application for admission has been denied. The doctoral program is limited in size, and this year's application process was more competitive than ever. We were only able to offer admission to fewer than 20% of those who applied. This means that many highly qualified applicants were denied."

I was rejected for the Ph.D. program but offered admission into MSc

invited to interview the 23rd and interviews were the 30th and 31st of Jan. would love to hear from others who interviewed on if they've heard back from the program yet.

Honestly surprised I made it to the interview round, congrats to those who received an offer!
