To poster below: got an interview from Princeton QCB, e-mail 1/4.

with 5 years funding incluces tuition, health care, and assistantship+fellowship

Damn, I got accepted everywhere I applied... should have tried for Harvard:( (full funding at UCSF, 27k/yr)

Took them only two days to decide, because of late application and most of the class have already been admitted I was told. Possibly going.

Accepted by the graduate program as a whole under the condition that I had to find an advisor for myself before accepting. And then largely unresponsive. So clearly, no, thanks. Had almost accepted another program (strangely enough, in bioengineering) by then anyway.

Got an email saying decision was made. Went in and saw the reject. I tired my best. Rejected from 2/3. Grad school really discriminates against poor students who are making it on their own. I went to community college and to a University of California, graduated cum laude. I guess they didn't like the community college part.
