TTPB: Thank you for the reassurance! Was your funding from the Trust, the department, or your PI? Was nominated to the Trust but still waiting on funding. My PI has only told me that he does not have any funding and has not mentioned CL funding, which is why I'm nervous.

Went to top 20 CS school undergrad with average GPA (3.35/4.0). Also average GRE (162Q, 155V). Glad I got in because I was rejected to all other 12 universities I applied to including my alma mater...

Hello there I think carleton reject everyone this year in Ms.cs my profile is 9.45 CGPA (GTU), 7 IELTS, Goggle DSC core member at college, 3 hackathons, 2 internships and rejected on sunday 25th late night it was mass rejection bcz in university group almot 40,50 people got rejection.

Is there any point holding out for news now?

TTPB: I got my acceptance in March but I know many people that haven't heard anything yet. Last year Columbia sent out a few acceptances as late as June and then mass rejections shortly after that.

Is there anyone that doesn't hear any responses from the school? I didn't get anything new at all including the msg of delaying their review or interview since I submitted my application...

Fully funded! Really generous amount of money (~50k/yr for international students like me). For those who applied for funding and are still waiting, don't lose your hope yet! I was told that every CS PhD at Cam has some kind of funding because CL along with most PIs are really rich. This is quite surprising as Oxford told me earlier they are having tough years that a large portion of their PhD students don't have any funding at all. I imagined Cambridge to be the same but turns out to be the opposite.

TTPB: That's what I'm assuming. Considering they accept 20-40 MSCS applicants per year and how bizarre this year's cycle has been, I strongly feel that they're done accepting people who had UCSB as a safety and have better offers.
