I'm the poster who talked about getting accepted to UTD's Computer Science PhD program around February 9. I finally got my funding letter today (30 April). A professor I mentioned in my SOP reached out to me, we talked over MS Teams, and he also offered me a summer RA position since I'm from the US. I'm just letting y'all know this in case any of you are still waiting for funding at around this time this or following years. Excited to get my PhD! Best of luck to everyone else in your academic endeavors. :)

TTPB - Sorry to break it to you but it's most likely a rejection at this point. Stop wasting your time.

Accepted into CS@CU MS Bridge Program! Finally after the long wait!

Guys, I request you all to shoot up an email to [email protected] for the status update. It's high time now and because of these emails, they'll at least try to pace up their process. PLEASE MAIL THEM!!

Finally got a decision from the CS@CU Bridge program!

Ttpb: Thank you very much for your consideration and response.

I applied for the MS/PhD track but I got admitted to online Master's program. I need to get more information about the program so that I can make a decision. If there are other students as me, I would be happy to be in touch with them. Good luck to everyone.

TTPB: (Im the rejected 3.7 guy). Thanks. I've received offers from multiple Ivy Leagues and CMU so I'm not too worried haha. Just seems strange for USC to reject me...

Applied in early February and interviewed. Decision came out on the 27th. $62.5k in funding. Will accept.

TTPB asking to rate profile: Very slight chance for Columbia at this point. There were nearly 220 students in the admitted students open house and 80% said they were fully committed to attend Columbia. I'm sure others also must've decided by now. They might send more admits if someone declines the offer. good luck!!

3.7 undergrad GPA from a better California university, GRE: 169Q, 165V, 5.0AWA, 3 years work experience in ML engineering at well known tech company. No clue where I went wrong given that they've accepted far weaker profiles in the last few weeks.

I was the person that was rejected from CS - DS program on 4/27. Just got the acceptance for the CS - ES program. Feeling relieved! Got into my second choice, but really wanted to go to USC.

Anyone still waiting for the decision? I haven't heard anything from the department. I assume I got waitlisted.

Now Viterbi portal shows about financial forms etc. I think those who didn't receive decision is reject. Didn't see many USC MS in CS general admits this year really sad 😢😢 Anyone still having hope?
