Disappointed but kind of expected it.

Applied on December 22, 2017. £6000 scholarship. Yay!

MRes/PhD Program. Logged in to see status on the portal. It said an email was sent to me, though I haven't received it. Poli Sci was first choice, still waiting for results of second choice.

Notified via portal after four weeks! High 2i average in Philosophy, predicted a 1st from top 5 UK university, with a year abroad. So excited! GL to everyone else

Undergrad Degree in Mathematics in USA. Have worked in finance/banking for 2 years.

Impersonal rejection e-mail.

No funding :/

Conditional offer on 2:1. No email, but website updated to reflect offer.

Strong undergraduate background in IR, relative intern, has been assistant for an LSE program before so was quite shocked. At least waitlist me please?

Checked the Applicant Tracker and later received an email.

To the person who was rejected from the LSE Master's IR programme, when did you submit your application? I submitted on the 8th Jan and it was downloaded on the 19th Jan so was wondering about the time frame. Thanks in advance.

CGPA: 3.77, Major GPA: 3.86. My background was in Economics and CS with virtually no pure math (might be the main reason for rejection). Good SOP, great LoRs.

3.80/4.00 (USA), strong references, decent SoP. I was emailed by the head of admissions, he was nice enough to offer a somewhat reassuring reason for my rejection - there are simply too many applicants with similarly strong profiles, so many of the admissions choices are to a large degree randomly made. Their loss.

Interview with two faculty related to my substantive and regional area of specialization, one of which will likely be my supervisor (if admitted).
