I got accepted into the Art History and Museum Curating MA program as well.

They set you up to fail. I want to warn people about Lindenwood. I wish someone would have warned me. The first class they put me into (they don't give you a choice) was a racist filth film class from the early years of filmmaking. It was an art history film course. First films assigned were racist propaganda, featuring Birth of a Nation & other films that used slurs against black children and other derogatory filth. The professor didn't even bother to address anything creative in the film at all, he focused only on the tech & business end of the medium. They hold your student loan money for a month, after they lie about when you will receive it, in order to get you in the door. In an 8 week course, you can't get your books until the fourth week, because they refuse to give you your money. Once in, you are at the mercy of their racism and they hit you with it first thing in the door. They are grifters not educators, certainly not a respected way to pursue education goals.

no email, just checked the portal. strange considering i was told by someone in the admissions committee that i had a strong application which included undergraduate research experience.

On the shortlist.

Was initially told there would not be a spot for me this year, but they came back and sent me an offer! Thrilled!

Finally!! Glad to have this out of the way.

Rejected. After over 3 months of waiting :/ All the best to the rest of y'all

......seriously? It took them THIS long to send blanket rejections?
