Ignore WL, anyone heard back from UPitts yet? Noticed in the past years the results would come out in early Feb, but I haven't heard anything from the school.

Was notified that I was recommended for acceptance by my advisor, with an official acceptance letter via email from the school a week later. Very excited!

Hadn't received any updates since I submitted in December. Saw people getting interviews as early as December, but no international students, so I decided to send an inquiry. They didn't respond. Had someone from the institution ask for me, then they responded via email with a generic rejection letter attached. The rejection is fine I guess, but not pleased with how the whole process was handled at all.

Interview with POI scheduled for next week

Got a very sweet, kindly worded email saying that I was rejected from the program (did not have to check a portal for the decision). I already received offers from other institutions (this was one of the last programs to tell me their decision), so all's well ends well as they say. Best of luck to everyone else!
