Received not one but two simultaneous rejection emails from different people. Also: "I regret to inform you that you have been placed on our denial list. The Graduate Division will be sending along an official letter to this effect in the coming weeks." so I guess two rejections isn't enough xD

Email says that will send a formal letter of rejection or acceptance by April latest. It sounds like they sent out all acceptances already though. My GRE scores are pretty bad/average, but I have loads of research experience, a few publications, plus I'm sure it helps that I have my BS from UCSC.

Theory unspecified. ... Last rejection of the season. to future applicants reading this, you might be curious how the GradCafe sample compares to the entire applicant pool, and that's our task as scientists to find out.

HEP-ex. Email from Ben Miller. Was also contacted by POI separately two days ago to set up Skype/meeting.

TTPB: It may be possible that they send out all the offers by notification, and the rest of the admission decisions, which are/will be processed by the Graduate Division are mostly rejections and wait-list position. If they really want to admit us, they would surely send us a notification. I am giving up hope for this school at this point. Good luck to y'all.

TTPB: I just emailed UCSC about when they would post decisions and I immediately got the response, "My apologies for the delay, we are waiting for the Graduate Division to begin processing decisions. Hopefully we will let applicants know in the next two weeks" Who did you contact who said they already sent out acceptances?

Asked physics department. Got reply that "We have contacted the applicants that we intend to admit, and I regret to inform you that you are not on the list. "

TTPB: I got admitted to UC Davis for Observational Cosmology

Received an e-mail telling me that I've been recommended to admission offer. I am afraid that it is an ad.

Anyone knows if Davis, Santa Cruz, San Diego have sent out all the offers? Any information is appreciated!

Has anyone heard from UC Davis for astronomy? Iv'e seen people get in for Physics, but not astro yet..
