TTPB: Got the same email. Looks like they sent a clarification email that it was sent to all applicants, incorrectly labeled as admits. Thanks for getting hopes up. Not looking forward to being rejected only to see lower profiles get in

Applied on 29 August, got on 29 September

Canadian citizen, winter not spring. Had some good rec letters and a paper on arXiv. No other research experience.

This was for Winter 2022. Not MILA. Didn't get the funding with the offer. Need to apply for it separately. Just an initial mail stating admission.

Have anyone heard from University of Montreal (Not Mila) with regards to the winter 2022 admission.

Accepted for January 2022 admission for the CS thesis program. I am a Canadian PR and a current undergrad at Waterloo. One of my reference letters was written by a Waterloo CS professor.

ttbp(s): when did you submit your apps?

Had anyone heard from SFU's Spring 2022 admission. If you have applied for the past spring admission can you please provide some insight on the expected date to get results.

This is for Winter 2022 (not Spring) which does not show up as an option. MMath CS coursework.

Deny both thesis and course based for MMATH.

The fact that I received my admittance so late leads me to believe that I was on some sort of waitlist that I didn't know about lol. I was pretty sure that I was going to get a rejection, since so many other people got their admittance letters months ago. Anyways, I'm posting this here for people who are still holding out hope. It is still possible to get an acceptance this late in the game :)
