I never actually reached out to any faculty in the department and there were not many faculty members who really fit my interests. I've been accepted to two other geography programs with better fit. Good luck to everyone!

Ignore waitlist. Have all acceptances from CU Boulder gone out? I've applied for hep-th. Prior to the actual application, they made me submit my CV and grades and gave me a fee waiver due to my 'excellent academic record' so I was hoping that that might mean something.

I got 3 interviews, one on Feb 2 and the last two on Feb 16, also in January when I received the invitation to visit. Promised to give results in 2 weeks after the first interview, but still no reply, maybe after the open day?

Been working with an APS faculty member for the past year on my honors senior thesis for my undergrad institution (which is not CU). No GPA or GRE scores, but my research focus is a great fit for the department.

Invited to attend open house. Been interviewed by two separate labs. No formal acceptance yet.

Got rejected from MIT today. When should I hear back about the professional MS Design program at CU Boulder?

Received a notification to check my status update. They said only 25/154 applicants could be admitted, and given that I'm coming straight from undergrad, I'm not too surprised. Congrats to those admitted!

Email to check the portal. 2 publications (1 first author, 1 co-author), 1 first-author preprint. 3 strong LoR (1 from the department's faculty member), was informed that I was on the shortlist and recommended admission by the faculty member. I highly recommend international students DO NOT consider applying to this program, given their highly uncertain admission criteria and limited funding :-)

no interview, email to check website

Email to check portal. 1 REU in astrophysics, ~1.5 total years of research experience in astrophysics, 2 strong LORs, 1 maybe strong/medium LOR
