1a/1w/0i/3r/8p – Received an email to check the portal and got rejected, which is okay because I got into my backup program.

NLP. No interview.

generic portal update

Jan 3 - 1st POI interview Jan 8 - 2nd POI interview Jan 30 - committee interview Feb 13 - unofficial offer from POI Feb 14 - official offer (portal update)

Yeah, I saw this one coming when I didn't get invited for an interview. I also didn't have too high of hopes because it's hard for a program to be a good research match for me. Congrats on everyone who got in! 1a/0w/0i/3r/7p

"Unfortunately, because of the large number of well-qualified applicants and the small number of program openings, it is not possible to offer you admission at this time. However, in the coming weeks that may change. We have placed your name on a waiting list and are reserving a final decision until we know whether we will be able to make additional offers of admission to the Department of Music."

0a/0w/1i/2r/7p Totally fine with this. Congrats on those accepted !

(GPA from MA) Notified by email, and received the fairly basic rejection. More or less saw this result coming based on the lack of an interview invite and (possibly) my research interests; I'm still bummed with the result, though. 0a/2r/4p

God I want this so badly….does anyone know the chances of making it off the waitlist?

GPA is Masters. Hilarious they sent this out so late when interviews were held in Jan. Cmon Princeton, do better. 1a/0w/8r/11p

took them long enough. 1a / 8r / 0w / 11p

GPA is MA. Pretty disappointed since my research aligned perfectly with the department. Really thought I had a chance. 0a/2r/4p
