It seems that they are not inclined, in the social sciences and humanities in particular, to fully fund non-EU folks. Of course, we know, tons of international students, including Americans and Canadians, accept this to put Oxford on their CVs, which basically has financed the institution. Is Oxford on break now? If so till when? I tried emailing my department but sis not receive a response. I have an offer of admission and I need to respond by April 20. Should I wait till I am sure I have funding or is it understood that I will withdraw my acceptance if funding does not come through?
