Received an email stating that a decision had been made on my application. Logged into the application portal website and read my letter of acceptance from the Dean of Humanities!

Waited too LONG......and required A LOT work during applying.....

Email to check portal. Visited portal and was transported to a secondary dimension where, unfortunately, I discovered I’d been rejected... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Accepted! But waitlisted for funding.

Pretty plain email, informed me a final decision would be made within two weeks

To the poster below: Very confusing. I got waitlisted back in early March. The email about the waitlist was very clear and un-confusing, so never any question. Also followed up about waitlist status about a week ago. Not sure what to say, but hopefully this is marginally helpful. Might be worth it to send an email and ask point blank what’s going on?

Question: has anyone else not yet heard from Montana [and know what that might mean]? I saw a number of people heard early last week about rejections!

Rejected from the wait list. Oh well, not among my top choices anyway. Now 1a/9r/5w/1p

Was waitlisted, and the official rejection came through. 1a/2w/9r

My first acceptance with funding--phew!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received email that portal was updated. Generic rejection letter

Finally heard from them. I already have an offer I love, so it didn't sting too bad. 2a1w3r0p

RIP the dream.

But got into every other university I applied to and going to Boston University instead (OMG). I really liked the program's history and their link to Chicano/Chicana literature and to Navajo writers. I found out about UNM because I emailed the program asking about when to expect results, and got an email back with the bad news. I'm pretty sure acceptances were sent out a long time ago. I hope this doesn't bring bad news to anyone, but if it does, chin up. You will get into a program!!!! (4a, 0w, 1r, 0s)
