I am a current student in Iowa State, and I got rejected!

Contacted with professor she was very impressed and told me to apply...but got rejection :( Don't trust on professor

expected outcome. :P

had an interview before, but was told later that I failed, so the rejection is expected.

Accepted and waiting on Official Letter. Rotations start this fall. I think my list of internships really helped me out on this one!

Very sad but kind of expected! Any way, good luck to those people who get accepted!

5 publication and 6 International conferences, and somehow a little bit extensive background in MSE field. However, I did not have any response from the faculty. Totally disappointing.

The email said your application has been approved by the department and you have been recommended for admission into the MSE Graduate Program for Fall 2015 as a self-supporting PhD student. Do you guys think I can get funding?

I can not expect it...What a frustrated day...

I think an interview? The email wasn't very clear. I am assuming they are now working off of a wait list I was on. Either way, I have already accepted a better offer and rejected them upfront.

I am in the waitlist for funding. If you have another offer and will not attend Iowa State University, please decline your offer as soon as possible.

Interviewed via Skype on February 13. Received early notice 2 weeks later. Told to wait for the paperwork for more details :)
