To the person below: are the two people you mentioned from mechanical engineering or from economics. If they're from engineering that means that there was no delay because of international students and they alreday sent out first round acceptances. This is so stressful.

I also received similar notification 2 weeks ago saying, "Your application was sent to our program by admissions and is now being reviewed by our faculty".. Just don't know for how long but let's remain hopeful. Ps. Heard a lot of Internationals applied and that's the main reason in the delay of decisions.

Same reject message as the poster below. Such a late decision. Had to wait for more than 4.5 months.

I received an update through email, letting me know that my application had been forwarded to the mechanical department and I would be notified of a decision soon. That was 2 weeks ago. Anyone else hear anything?

Hello Everyone! Has anyone yet received any offer in MEng program of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering ? I applied on 20th Jan, and there is no update from university. What are the chances of my admission? I am an International Student and my CGPA is 3.2 out of 4 , my IELTS score is 7.

I'm still waiting to hear from UCSD. I have sent two emails to ask the status of application, but there is no response.

Accepted offer with full scholarship and teaching assistantship.

Finally! After 6 rejects, an admit at last. Admitted to the Masters (Coursework) program but I'll take this over nothing.

I first got rejected by the department in Feb. But I got the offer letter after arguing with the department. Professor has given me a phone call and he would give me full funding.

Application with funding (Mitacs Fellowship), GPA 3.91/4.00 from a decent Chinese university (decent 985), some research experience, was Mitacs research intern at a Canadian university. UW rejected without giving the reason. Your loss.

I also called the university, they said they will begin with the offers by first week of June due to high number of international applicants.

Has anyone heard from them yet? I am talking of both Canadian and International applicants? I was told by Ma'am Brenda that they are waiting to find a supervisor for my application and that they will tell international applicants the results of their application in early Summer. Also i just contacted one or two instructors but they didnt reply back so i don't know what to make of it but most probably a rejection i guess. Has anyone heard from them yet??

Just minutes ago, UCLA sent me an email to check the website. No funding information. Does it mean i need to find a RA or TA position?

Anyone can decipher the email. What do they mean by the statement "this does not mean you will not receive an offer" - do they mean we are admitted but as of now no funding or if they could not match us with any proff. even after April 15, will they reject us?
