Received an informal call today. Official and funding information will be here on Friday. AH!

Certificate in Data Analytics, 2 years Peace Corps, 3 years federal job -- received a call about my acceptance, IM SO STOKED! Such an incredible school with great faculty and an excellent reputation.

Not unexpected: as you can see quite a terrible GRE score as I did not have the chance to study for it at all. Always worth a shot though :) I handed in a video to try to make up for it/stand out and know they never clicked on it. I think if your GRE is under a certain number they might not even look at your application.

The notification was in the application portal as of about 1 PM EST - no email yet indicating status change.

Sad.

Reversal of earlier rejection decision after extended discussion and re-negotiation with program administration. Re-submitted application materials to be more compliant with program standards. Should I attend this program, expressed intent to work with two well-known Political Science (International Relations/National Security area of focus) faculty who teach and supervise projects within this program.

I'm chill with this, as I knew this was a reach for me anyways. I'm more amazed by the fact they called me "Ms" in the rejection letter (I am a man). It seemed a little weird to me.

Email to check portal. Funding letter to come in mid-March. Low GRE likely offset by GPA & 6 years work experience in federal government and nonprofit.

Emailed the program.
