Email notification received April 4 at 1:49 AM to check the website for a USC decision letter. Rejection letter dated April 2. Good luck to others out there!

Belated. But also if please decline this program it's literallyyyy my dream school!!!

Reached out to the program and got the "we haven't finalized the class, but your application was not advanced" response. Ce la vie! (I'd already accepted this one ahead of time, more or less). Good luck homies! It's hard out here!

If you're still waiting like I am, I definitely recommend emailing and reaching out to ask! I hadn't heard anything back still which I thought was strange so I reached out and got the waitlist confirmation today. Good luck to everyone!

Thank you for applying to the Creative Writing program at UNC Greensboro. We strive to conduct a fair and thoughtful review of every applicant's achievements, talents, recommendations, and academic and professional credentials. After thorough review, I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission at this time. Each application is considered in relation to other applications in the same area and only the very top applicants are admitted. Your application file was considered in detail by the faculty in Creative Writing. While they were impressed with the potential demonstrated through your application, the number of qualified applicants far exceeded the number of students we are able to enroll. The admissions committee in Creative Writing recommends that you consider reapplying to the program for the next available entry term. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your application. While I realize this is not the outcome for which you had hoped, I wish you the best toward attaining your goals.

GPA is Grad. 0a/0w/9r/0p better luck next year I guess

0a/1w/7r/4p, email to check portal. still looking to hear back from my top schools

Had to email to get word.

Nothing on the portal. I reached out and was informed that the class has not been finalized but that I was not chosen. Why even tell me the class isn't finalized? That stings.

Email to check the admissions portal. I was waitlisted but only found out last week (3/27/24) after emailing the grad program manager, who told congratulated me but also informed me that I would be getting a rejection letter in couple days.

No email notification; decision letter posted in the grad admissions portal. 0a/2w/4r

No email, just checked portal.

GSAS-Nonfiction. Notified 2/28. Just declined the offer through the portal, hope you get it if you want it!
