Got a mail from the admissions office to check the portal. However, no word of funding in the acceptance letter.

Got an email to check the application portal. I got an acceptance letter from the graduate office, however, there is no word of funding.

3 published journal papers, 1 in submission, and 8 international conferences Fully funded as RA

Ominous "Application Status Update" email, but with enough clicks I got to the acceptance letter! Woohoo!

2.13-15 campus visit. Received the offer today, funding will be in a separate email later.

TTPB, which U of I are you referring to? I applied to UIC and heard back last week from a professor I indicated interest to work with. Seems like the Bioengineering Dept. goes ahead with direct admits. I have a second round of interview later this week. Good Luck!

As expected. Got the email from the committee early in Jan, but finally ended with merely two-round email communication and then no reply anymore.

Had a skype interview with a professor of interest. They ghosted me for a month even though other people got accepted/rejected. Not sure why they rejected me now instead of earlier with everyone else.
