With funding, couldn't be happier.

It seems that berkeley send their admissions.. then is it possible to get an implicit rejections for those who didnt get an email from berkeley ?

To the posters below, was it M.ENG? And have you received the official letter from the Graduate Admissions Committee or been recommended for Admission by the department?

Accepted via email. I have already declined. The admission process was quite random this year, I got offers from Harvard and Chicago, but rejections from LSE and (implicit) Princeton. 7a/4r/1p

$8k 1st year, $21k following years.

Not too disappointed, since I am doing an MA at Berkeley and know this program via my peers. I don't hear the greatest things about students' experiences, yet somehow its name still carries so much prestige. Had a meeting with the program's chair back in November and it was...very dull.

To UCB: I paid so much $$$ only to get 1. no email reply 2. even no advertisements 3. a very very late rejection. I want my money back!!!!!
