Received notice to check portal. Was told by professors at the school that I was a top candidate due to my extensive work and graduate school experience. I'm assuming the rejection is most likely due to shifts in the funding landscape :/ This was the message: "After a comprehensive review of your application and supporting documents, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission at this time."

I had an interview the 21st and got accepted the 24th. I don’t think I’ll accept because it felt like they were only choosing me versus me choosing them as well. They didn’t try to sell the program as much as I would have liked to hear more about it. My individual interview was only 15 to 20 minutes. I felt like my interviewers were bored until I brought up the fact that I I am connected to and want to work with a minority population, that caught their attention. They said they wanted us to feel welcomed and not nervous, but didn’t actually do anything to make me feel like that.

No GRE, GPA is grad. Offer came as a generic email to check the admissions portal.
