Received call from POI. Official notification coming the next few days. I was convinced I'd been rejected because of all the previous comments. If you received an interview but haven't heard back yet DO NOT DESPAIR.

Finally an offer after a week of rejects. Applied to systems. Two 1st author papers in VLDB/KDD. LORs from profs I worked with for 2 years each. Visit days mid-March with a Google form for RSVP.
