Still on the wait-list at Iowa State. Hoping some of the people offered 2nd round admittance accept offers somewhere else.

I applied to ISU as MS but, after talking with one of professors, they changed my status to Ph.D. So excited to cover full tuition and even 26k stipend till my work is done!

Asked when result is being declared.But sent rejection.Surprised

Without funding offer on 27th March. Now I have a funded offer, most Probably I will not accept the offer. Will reject within next few days.

Not terribly useful information, since it's after April 15th and I've already decided to go somewhere else.

I am waitlisted for funding. So there seems to be a hope. Only problem is that I got a MA offer from another university to which I have to give an answer asap. Anyway I hope I am not in the bottom of the list. Best of Luck for admission 😊

To post below: I'll probably take the offer. Are you waitlisted for funding or waitlisted for admission? I know last year 10 out of 16 on the funding waitlist eventually received financial aid, so good luck.

I did not expect a reject from Iowa state university. This is the schools with least ranking from the list of univerisities I applied. Got admission in a better univerisity. Very unprofessional... Intially I was approached by a professor and assured a position with number of emails. They made me to wait for the university result for almost 1 month. Finally sent a reject. :-(

With full funding! All the other prospective students had far higher GRE scores. I think my research exp got me in (2 yrs + publication).

Received admission here along with assistantship offer. Will accept. Undergrad from BUET.
