Accepted into MS program instead

I have not received any updates, not even a rejection. This is the worst admission process I have witnessed. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Has anyone heard from this program? I know this practically means rejection but even after contacting the admissions office 3 weeks ago and being told that the results will go out in 2 weeks, there is still no response.

Accepted into MS instead and that too without assistantship

I was accepted to the Masters instead, but without funding. I did not get an email, it was on my account.

I'm the same applicant from Iran who got rejected from Columbia University. Now I got my dream school and a fantastic supervisor! There is always hope. Stay positive!

Applicant from Iran. I hold BSc from Amirkabir and MSc from Sharif both in Mechanical Engineering. I had a faculty member in Columbia who encouraged me to apply. We were connected until February, however, she didn't answer my last email ( on April 1st ). So I was expecting this!! The only annoying part was that she didn't even bother to reply to my email. No journal publications. 4 oral conference presentations 3 of which were related to the position. as well as a co-author experience on a chapter of book (not related topic). I had lots of related webinars and workshops.

Accepted with funding from department/POI!

TTPB: I haven't heard anything since I submitted my application. My status on my portal still says awaiting decision.

Did anyone hear from them? I have not heard from them since early December.

I am elated! I applied two years ago during a gap year and got an Honorable Mention. I waited to apply again until my second year in my PhD program (I definitely had a better idea of what research I wanted to pursue and more convincing data).

Didn't hear anything back after interview. Emailed and was told they're full, and won't be able to offer me a position. Low key wish I emailed them to drop my app, would have felt better than being rejected :(

Has anyone heard back from this program? Any acceptances or rejections? Will they just ghost people after taking 125$ for an application? Apart from being unethical, isn't that borderline scam that they charge you money and don't even let you know whether they looked at your application or not?

It was disappointing to be rejected after all the interviews and passing the initial admission stage to the interview weekend program. But it never hurts when you got admission from the 8th world uni (UCL).

TTPB desperate to get into this program: consider other options! I interviewed and uncovered some hidden red flags, would not want to spend 5+ years in that department's culture!
