copypaste email from EECS admission chair saying I've been waitlisted along with ~50 others across EECS subareas. EECS apply portal is still blank.

I reached my POI today and was told that the admissions this year were closed. It's sad but reasonable. I am not sure how many people are still waiting but good luck.

The portal asks to check back by early March, but it is already March 8th.... Does anyone have any info?

I also haven't heard anything from MIT EECS until now what does it mean I'm on the waitlist or something ??

I am still waiting on my decision from the EECS program! Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Perfect GPA, no publication, an honest/confident SoP, 7 LoRs (not from famous but from professors who know me well). No interview. EE.

TTTB Prof. Manolis sent an interview email to me last month. Just a ten minutes interview. But Didn't get the accept email. I think I am rejected.

Totally unexpected. No interview, no publications. Perfect GPA good SoP (I guess?) good RLs, 1 year research experience.

I guess they really decided not to accept EE applicants

POI told me there will be no more acceptance.

I heard the admission committee are done with reviewing all the applicants by now and most likley no additional admission offer will be sent out.

1 excellent RL (probably carried my app), 2 ok RL. No authorships
