I have a PhD in English from UTulsa. Applying to their program was a waste of application fee.

Received an email saying they were impressed with my candidacy but due to the highly competitive pool I was waitlisted and they hoped to write back soon with positive news. Myfile still says Decision Pending though not sure why. York Social-Legal Studies is truly a perfect fit for my research and if anyone with an offer has decided on another program, I’d appreciate any updates soon. Wishing all of us the best with research! May we make the world a little better through education. Good luck with our applications! ;)

The slowest and the most annoying application experience for sure

they really could’ve notified us sooner!!! 2a/0w/4r/0p

Ignore the status. Does anyone still hear nothing from them? I know they've already sent out admission, wl, and rej...

Email to check portal. Same generic plug about the masters in bioethics. 3a/1w/11r/2p

No interview

Email to check portal. Why do they use this to advertise their Bioethics masters program? I usually like when they offer masters to take the edge off a rejection even though nobody can afford it, but why bioethics, and without even admitting us?

I knew it was coming but taking almost 100 days to find out is insane. GPA is Masters. Couldn’t have been a more perfect for for my PI in my opinion. 6/6 rejections this cycle

3.753 master’s GPA (which i received from nyu). all of my letters of rec were from nyu professors and it was a great fit. extremely disappointing.

Very long wait for a rejection

was just waiting to hear no at this point. was a perfect fit, my POI actually wrote one of my letters. whatever! onwards.

I mean, I already knew. But it would be nice if they would have sent these out a month ago.
