I'm still waiting for a letter from the Ph.D in creative writing in poetry. Please also note that I am currently a finalist for a tenure-track job in English at a prestigious university, which just goes to show that many of these departments are extremely biased and don't bring in the best candidates.

Canadian Applicant. Received my decision via email first before the decision letter was officially posted in the website. I chose to accept my offer of admission.

Admitted but still waiting on information relating to funding. The Graduate Director sent a nice email stating that the Provost will be making a decision about funding and that St. John's fully funds whenever possible. The post below is incorrect -- the PhD in English program automatically considers applicants and a separate application is not needed.

GPA Masters; Offered acceptance with full tuition remission and a 22k a year stipend (though the way its worded makes it seem like it may not be guaranteed after the first year); this was a pretty good cycle for me and I have a lot of figuring out to do between the acceptances to figure out where I'm gonna be going. Hope everyone else's cycle goes just as well! 2a/3r
