I was admitted about a month ago but there is still no information on funding. They said that it could take several weeks to finalize. Has any of you receive financial support offer yet?

Received an email from a faculty asking about my interest. Later was told that there are still a several candidates before me on the waiting list, and there's no high hope for getting in. I guess this counts as a rejection.

I have removed myself from the waitlist.

This stings pretty bad given last year's frankly embarrassing manuscript was enough to place me on the wait list.

I received notification regarding acceptance via email. The number of applicants were too high this year but still I made it! Best wishes to other applicants.

I am not the post below. The director emailed me with a letter indicating they would admit me if I submitted phase 2. I passed phase 1 on the same day.

So is Iowa sending wait-lists and rejections by tortoise?
