TTPB: Did you receive your official letter yet? I have gotten emails from my POI and the department chair about acceptance, but no official letter for a while now...

no interview, was in contact with POI before

Informed that I've been waitlisted by my POI. It seems that I have a snowball's chance of getting off of the waitlist. I'm heartbroken, but offer my congratulations to those accepted!

Congrats to those admitted.

TTPB: I was interviewed on 2.11 and received the offer today (2.19).

middle east focus. professor told me only one student was admitted.

7/7 rejection. I hope God has planned something better for me, because this hurts.

Hi GU posted below! Can I ask when did you do the interview?

No funding information in the offer letter

To those desperately waiting to hear from the faculty: I emailed the concentration head about the results and asked whether those who haven't been invited to prospective students day are rejected. She quickly replied saying that they are hosting a prospective students day on Feb 19 for several top candidates, but final decisions have not yet been made, and they will likely be finished with their process by mid-March.
