religious studies/ theological studies- emphasis in ethics

Bachelor degree in Econometrics from an eastern european university, cum laude, strong SOP/LORs, weak GRE (I think), research and internship experience, received a rejection letter from 8/2/22: Thank you for having applied to our University. We regret to inform you that your application to the Statistics MSc programme at ETH Zurich has not been successful. The admissions committee of the Department has carefully weighed the qualifications, competences and level of mastery you document in your application for admission to the Statistics MSc programme against this programme's profile of requirements. Unfortunately, the committee has decided that your qualifications do not fulfil these requirements, and we must therefore reject your application. We thank you for your interest and wish you all the best for your future. Good luck to all the other applicants!

Update on admissions status portal- "Thank you for your Fall 2022 application to the Doctor of Philosophy program at Union Theological Seminary. The Faculty Admissions Committee has carefully reviewed your application and I am sorry to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission at this time. The decision was not an easy one to make, but was reached through a thorough and thoughtful review of your application materials. Please recognize that this decision is not a dismissal of your academic ability or promise, but a reflection of the keen competition among the applicants for the limited space in our programs. We hope this final decision will not deter you from any of your personal aspirations. Indeed, all members of the Faculty Admissions Committee wish you success in all future endeavors."

This is a query. Does ETHZ EE Masters have strict GRE cutoffs? The website said "minimum expected score" was 165-Q and 155-V. Does this mean the average accepted student score is around this marks or no student below this will be considered? Any examples of students with lesser GRE marks than this who are accepted will be appreciated

Finally, the best because I didn't want to be there.

Generic email to check portal. GPA is Masters GPA.
