Accepted off the waitlist via email and phone call. I had completely given up, so I am still in shock! Accepted the following morning. This closes out my (extremely rocky and stressful) season at 1a/6r/0p. For anyone reading this comment this spring or in years following: remember it only takes one acceptance to change the whole game!!! This was my second time applying and I am over the moon. This thing is a crapshoot and I was prepared to reapply in the fall and the fall after that. Your chances of getting in will increase with each time you apply :) good luck

Already knew this was a rejection. Timeline: on 3/5, I knew all initial offers were already out, although waitlisted students were not notified. Seems like they don't notify waitlisted people, just wait to see if their initial offers are accepted. Emailed a few days later to see if I was on the waitlist, and got some nice compliments from a faculty member on a piece but the email implied I was rejected. Portal update 4/1 with the rejection letter.

In off the waitlist.

Actually not (quite) a rejection. I had been waitlisted and emailed to express my continued interest. Got a reply back that 2 of the 3 slots in fiction offered this year have been taken, and I am not in the top 2 slots on the waitlist. So, very very likely a rejection. A nice personal email explaining all this.

Admitted off the waitlist!!!! My knees hurt from jumping up and down. Waitlisted 2/15 , admitted 3/29.

Fully funded offer with stipend :)

Whoever got an offer, congratulations! Please make up your mind soon and rid me of this mind-numbing anxiety.

Absolutely thrilled! What a tremendous honor! I am going to do everything possible to make this happen because I will not let the lack of full funding stop me now!

Longish, apologetic email - "our program is relatively small and further reduced this year"

I got an email informing me that my application status had changed, directing me to check the portal. I am an older applicant, out of school for some time, so likely my GPA had little to do with my acceptance. I am going to take the spot and am thrilled. Good luck to all of you...

Very nice phone call. No mention of $$$ off, which may be a dealbreaker, unfortunately.

Got a very sweet phone call this evening and a scholarship offer, but unfortunately is not enough to go, hoping to get more funding ! but also might have to reapply next year

Not going to lie, I feel...rejected. 2A/1R/2p

They called me this morning to let me know I am in!
