Accepted yay! Submitted my application on Jan. 26—so quite a long wait.

Awarded an LSE PhD studentship!!!

To the previous poster: no news yet on the LSE studentship decisions.

To the poster below asking for my info. I'm an International student currently in UK, my gpa is what here is called a 1st class (73%), which I believe is over the 3.6 mark. However, my uni is quite average and the degree is a BA in Applied Economics and Sociology

Double First Class degree from a top university in my country. Top 1% percent of class and beat graduating student in department as well as faculty. Work experience in projects supported by USAID, UN WOMEN, Youth4Peace, and Carnegie Corporation. I submitted my application on 20th February, received my ID on 28th February and made an offer 20th March. In total my application lasted about 4 weeks before I was made an offer. Also, programme was already labelled closed online when offer was made.

Has anyone who has been nominated by their department for a PhD Studentship heard back yet?

To the waitlisted person below: could you tell me your GPA/grade, if you are international, TOEFL scores... etc?

Application was completed and downloaded on Jan. 22.

Waitlisted on the 15th of Jan, application went through on the 8th of Dec. Waited until the 7th of March before being notified that the application reached the selectors for a final decision. It's the 22th of March and still no answer, email the grad admission office asking for an estimated timeframe and I was given "within two weeks". Anyone in the same situation?

Has anybody heard back about the 2nd round of funding?

Nominated for PhD studentship

First class from a top 50 school with HR related work experience and international work experience

To the poster asking about LSE Masters, I applied on the 5th of January, received my LSE ID on the 19th of January and have yet to hear back from them. I submitted one of the "how do I" inquiry forms to find out about the status of my application because I got into Yale's Masters (IDE) and don't want to make the choice before hearing back from LSE but I've yet to be responded to...oh well

Is anyone here waiting for a decision for the MSc Economics course at LSE? And if yes, when did you receive your LSE ID?

Anyone heard from LSE? The ddl of their first round offers should have passed

Ah as I said before, please do not take what I said as the 100% truth, it was just what I've heard before, could easily be wrong! :)

Has anyone received the decision for this programme? I submitted on 8th January and still waiting (it's already 11th week!). I emailed to the admin person in charge, but got no response so far.

Few days ago. I called and they told me that I was not concern so far I applied before, but well, this is not encouraging at all! I'll let you know ah ah.

Did anyone receive a funding decision today? They stated in the email that the results would be announced.
