After a careful review of your application and supporting documentation, we are unable to make you an offer of admission. The applicant pool was very competitive and, regrettably, we cannot accommodate all students. We wish you great success on your academic journey" Not contacted to any professor before.

MMath in Pure Mathematics (Quantum Information). Received no mail. Logged into Quest to see rejection. Undergraduate from India. GPA: 9.23/10. Research Interest: Theoretical CS. Had 4 conference papers and 1 journal paper. Strong LoRs, one of which from a very popular academic in the field. Had no good mathematical background though.
